Purple and Orange Boujad

Boujad is a large widespread area and not a tribe. Since they are woven by a number of tribes they can display varying techniques and styles. Originating in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco, Boujad rugs are low-pile soft wool and known for their abstract and geometric shapes. These rugs tend to feature bold strong colors.
